BUDGET REPORT THROUGH JULY 2010

Dear Members and Fellow Referees,

2010 is the best year of overall paid membership.  For the past 5 years, approximately 20 - 25 people each year have carried the cost of ASRA.  This is why you may have noticed a more aggressive approach this year in asking for more of the refs to step up.  We feel it is time for more to kick in.  This is also why we are wanting to offer something tangible upon signing up (shirts and flip coins).

Dues collected for 2010 - 44 members (42 @ $20, 2 GR 9's @ $10) = $860 (we started collecting dues in Aug '09 for 2010, we've also restructured the annual year to match a normal calendar year.  In the past, we collected dues from Aug - July, but that was confusing to many so now we will be Jan - Dec to simplify.
