The jeep ride to Hanau from Kirch Goens was always a fun ride. Especially driving through Freiburg and the other small towns.
: In the early 1980s, I worked in the Materiel Office of 122 HQ at Fliegerhorst Kaserne in Hanau. I have many fond memories of visiting D-122 at Kirch-Goens and also at Grafenwoehr. D-122 truly kept the 3AD 1st Brigade 'Rock' rolling.
