The new picture counts are in. The first thing you'll notice is that the number of pictures for each person is less than the first time I counted.
That's because I want to win, so I deleted the pictures of everyone else....... Ok, so I didn't really delete the pictures. The first time I counted, I had a logic error in the program I wrote to count the names. It counted the names twice (once for the first name and once for the last name).
After I corrected the program for that mistake, I then had to take into account that some of the pictures were not actually taken while the person was stationed at the ROCK. This mostly affected Renee, Me, and Don Hoffman. There are over 660 pictures at this point, and the task became too tedious to look through each picture. I did it for my own pictures and came up with 5 less pictures that I should have counted. So for me, the 35 in the count should really be 30. I'll leave it to each of you (if you are that interested) to count your own to see if they belong.
And Renee, I guess I was wrong. You've made some serious gains on my lead from the last time, although some of your pictures were taken at Fort Hood too.
I suspect that Jody has been holding back and is about to crank up her scanner and take a late lead just before the reunion. Just like the last presidential election, it's a tight race and there may be several recounts (whatever it takes to keep me in the lead).
